Spring Favorites 2018

Moisturizer/SPF - Estee Lauder Daywear Moisturizer

Unlike in the winter when for some reason I had tons of time for my skin care routine in the morning, I only had mere minutes to get out the the door! I mentioned this product in My Shortened "K-Beauty" Routine, and I loved it this Spring because it was just super fast and easy to apply. It contains SPF 15, and in New York's gloomy spring days this year, I felt it was sufficient! It was moisturizing enough to keep my usually dry skin soft but not overly heavy to wear it would've been a winter cream!

Foundation - Koh Gen Do Aqua Foundation

Ahh, I've talked about this foundation in several posts at this point, so I'm just going to link my review for this foundation here. Literally was the only foundation I wore this Spring!

Concealer - NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer

Basically, my base routine this season was just KGD Aqua and this concealer! It was very rare I used anything else! During the summer months, I go towards a more long-wearing concealer (like Shape Tape) but for Spring, I didn't really want a matte under eye, so NARS was the best option for that fresh faced look I was going for!

Bronzer- Hoola Bronzer

It's odd that I didn't try this bronzer until this year (considering how popular this one is!). I love this one because it has the perfect amount of cool and warm tones in it. It's honestly the only bronzer I've used this season so far!

Blush- NARS Orgasm

I've literally owned this blush for years. And who doesn't know about this blush already? Not just by its sexual innuendo, but of how pretty and universal it is! NARS Orgasm is such a pretty peachy color, that just shouts Spring to me!

Highlight- Estee Lauder Heat Wave

I've raved about this product in my Top 5 High-End Powder Highlights, and I still stand by what I said. It's a medium gold color that can be applied lightly for natural, dewy skin or be built up to a intense gold highlight! It's as soft almost like a cream, but definitely sets as a powder. It just melts into the skin upon application, and looks gorgeous on all skin types!

Eyeshadow- Charlotte Tilbury Golden Goddess Luxury Palette

I'm not sure why, but this Spring, when I wasn't wearing my Natasha Denona Chroma Crystal Topcoat in Peach, this was the only other palette I used. Maybe because I liked the overall neutral tone of the palette. It's not overly red like Dolce Vita (which I also love too don't get me wrong), but it's also not a super cool-toned palette like Uptown Girl. I guess this palette could be a contender every season, but this Spring, this palette was like one of those cups of coffee that just felt right.

Eyeliner - N/A

It was actually super rare that I wore eyeliner this Spring! Even while I was working! I just felt like the beauty industry kind of shyed away from eyeliner this season, and stuck to the fresh, big, bright eyes look. Even on my clients, I noticed myself only applying eyeliner into the upper waterline, just for extra eye definition on camera.

Mascara- Benefit They're Real Mascara

I love this mascara for everyday wear, because it lengthens and separates my lashes. Like I've mentioned, Spring time is a time where it's all about fresh faces, and this is my go-to-mascara for that type of look!

Lipliner- Charlotte Tilbury Lip Cheat in Pillow Talk

I'm actually not a huge lip liner person, especially on myself. It's not that I don't like it- it's just an extra step and a lot of times when I'm running out the door I don't got time for that! But, in the occasions I did this Spring, I wore this beautiful "your lips but better" shade by Charlotte Tilbury for that minimal, fresh Spring makeup look. It also held my gloss in place a lot longer than without it!

Lips- Fenty Gloss Bomb Universal Lip Luminzer

AHHHH, I love lip gloss more than I initially thought I was. Gotta thank RiRi for releasing this product, because I will continue purchasing until the end of time- Yass queen slay! I take this gloss with me everywhere. Like literally- I carry this one on my person at all times. It's my favorite type of rosy shade- neutral- not too flamboyant, not too understated. It has such a pretty shimmer to it, and it smells ahhhmaaaziiing. I mean, I don't have to convince you this lip gloss is literally the bomb (haha, get it? the name...?), there are tons of people out there who agree with me on this!
