Anastasia Beverly Hills Norvina Palette Review

Ahhh, who doesn’t love a good ABH palette? I remember purchasing my first one like it were yesterday: the Amrezy Palette. I remember thinking at that time, isn’t her specialty eyebrow products??? How far have we come since then! Anastasia’s palettes are known to be super pigmented and blendable. So let’s see if one of her latest products, the Norvina Palette, holds up to that reputation!

Pigmentation

I mean, ABH is sort of known for their pigmentation. Her shadows are just always super pigmented. Sure for them, that means there’s usually kickback, but honestly that doesn’t bother me. Also her range of shades and the compilation of such shades are beautiful, as always.

Blendablility

So for the pigmentation of ABH shadows, they’re usually fairly blendable. They’re not as blendable as my Natasha Denona shadows, however, it’s a bit unfair to compare ABH to that sort of god-level blendability for its price point. There weren’t any issues with any of the shades blending unlike other ABH palettes I’ve had in the past.

Lasting Power

So I’ve tried this palette with both my Urban Decay Primer Potion and without, and I would definitely claim that the color stays brighter for a longer period of time with the primer underneath. With the primer potion, I got a full 8-9 hour wear before the color started fading. Without it, I got around 6-7 hour wear before any fading.

Final Verdict

I really really like this palette. In fact, there hasn’t been an ABH palette that has caught my eye since the Modern Renaissance, and I’m really glad that out of all the ones that have been released since the Modern Renaissance, I chose this one! The majority of shades in this palette I knew I didn’t already have in the millions of other palettes I own, and the shadow performance on each shadow lives up the hype! Another great palette Anastasia!
