Impressions Hollywood Glow Pro Vanity Mirror Review
So it's been about a year since I first purchased the Glow Pro Vanity Mirror, and honestly, I don't know how I'd live without it!
Now, do I think everyone needs the Glow Pro? Maybe, maybe not.
Here are my pros and cons of this vanity:
Pros
Dimmable soft/bright white light option
I personally have the bright white option, but the soft white option might be better for those who want to take selfies in front of the vanity! I use my vanity more for clients nowadays than myself personally, so bright white just worked for me better!
Dual outlet and USB option
This add-on is actually super convenient when I want to charge my phone near me while I'm getting ready or when I want to style my hair in front of my vanity! A newer release also includes bluetooth speakers and a digital panel that tells you the weather and time!
Different color options
The vanity comes is several color options: white, black, silver, gold, and rose gold.
Huge! Room for everyone!
When three of my girlfriends and I are getting ready for girls night, this mirror has enough space for all of us! And it's super fun that way too!
Fits perfectly on IKEA tabletops
At first I was nervous that the vanity wasn't going to fit narrow tabletop I had from IKEA. But it actually fits perfectly! IKEA lists the full dimensions on their website, so if you have tabletops the same size or larger, the Glow Pro will fit appropriately.
Very classy look
At first I was debating whether I should get the Impressions Glow Pro or the Glamcor Socialite Mirror (but that price tag thoughhh...). I loved the sleek look of the Glamcor, as well as the fact it has its LED dimmable lights built in, but the price difference between was too great just to go bulb-less. Still, I'm very satisfied with how the Glow Pro looks!
Cons
Very heavy
So the FedEx guy had to personally deliver this package to my door, but man, this thing was tough to get from the front door to my bedroom! Definitely have a friend or someone there to assist you when you're expecting the vanity to be delvered.
Might be hard to set up
So set up time took about 45 minutes to an hour, as you have to delicately turn the mirror around and screw the nails from the bottom board to the actual mirror. Again, make sure you have a friend to help you with the set up process!
Definitely hard to transport
So I'm definitely moving out of my apartment by the end of this year, and I have no idea how I'm going to safely transport this thing to my new place. I'm most likely going to bubble wrap the crap out of it and hope to God something doesn't disturb it in the moving van.
Pricey
The total cost of this mirror currently is $579-$679, depending on what type of bulbs you want, not including shipping and taxes. This is obviously more expensive than if you were to DIY your own vanity, but in my opinion, it's definitely worth it!
I think the Glow Pro is a must-have for any beauty enthusiast! However, if price and/or space is a concern, Impressions Vanity has other options and deals as well!
