Best Lash Primers- High-End and Drugstore!

Considering how much makeup I’ve accumulated over my life, it’s a pretty large statement to say that I’ve consistently used a certain type of product every day for the past eight years that’s not foundation, concealer, or the mains. Lash primer has been such a secret weapon of mine for several reasons. 1. It makes my lashes look phenomenal! 2. It keeps my mascara on all day! 3. It makes my lashes look phenomenal! Here are my top picks for lash primers, both drugstore and high-end:

Review

This lash primer does exactly what its name suggests: it makes you lashes voluminous! One thing to keep in mind though is that you should really try to apply this primer on evenly, or else it’ll get a bit clumpy in those areas of excess. My pro tip is to let the primer dry first, then layer with your favorite mascara! With that being said, this is my favorite drugstore lash primer for the reason that it actually does what it says!

High-End: The Diorshow Maximizer 3D Triple Volume Plumping Lash Primer

(I dare you to say that three times fast!)

review

With the above research results, I completely agree. Normally, I have super straight asian lashes. To combat this, I usually use my Shiseido lash curler, but when I don’t have it around (or don’t feel like reaching for it because it’s too far from my vanity lol) I can always count on the Diorshow primer to curl my lashes! Lashes with and without the primer show incredibly noticeable differences, in both curl, length, and volume. I like the application of this primer more than the Loreal, as it allows mascara to sit on top of it a bit better than the former. Also, it really lifts your lashes without clumpiness or weighing them down. That’s why I’ve purchased at least 5 bottles of this stuff already!

final verdict

If you had to choose between the two, I’d say go for the Diorshow! However, if you’re on a budget but still need a good lash primer, the Loreal Voluminous is a great alternative that still gives amazing volume!
