10 Step Korean Skincare Routine for Dry Skin!

Banila Co Clean It Zero Original Cleansing Balm

Before I discovered this product, I swore by the Clinique Cleansing Balm. What I didn't like about the Clinique version though, was that I’d literally be as blind as a bat when I used it (so basically a wipe had to be nearby at all times!). Also, my skin would be super duper sticky. When I started using the Banilla Co Clean it Zero however, I didn't run into any of these issues! It truly takes off all your makeup- even the most stubborn waterproof mascara - and doesn't leave any greasy residue on my skin after I wipe the product off with a makeup wipe!

2. innisfree Minimum for Sensitive Skin Cleansing Milk

innisfree Minimum for Sensitive Skin Cleansing Milk

This is a new one that I’ve picked up recently, but I really like how gentle it is on my skin! It claims to remove makeup, but I think the Banila Co Clean it Zero does most of that job already! I love the innisfree cleaner’s soft milk scent, and it just leaves your skin feeling super soft and silky!

3. Neogen Dermatology Bio-Peel Gauze Peeling Wine

The smell of this- is sooooooo goood. I used to only use physical exfoliants- which would only dry out my already dry skin when I used it too much- but this stuff has never dried out my skin! Granted, I only use it about 2-3 times a week, but I find it very gentle compared to other physical/chemical exfoliators I've used. You have one side of the pad that has a rougher texture (which I like to use first), and then the other side much softer (which I use second). After rinsing the product off, my skin looks brighter, and smoother!

4. Son & Park Beauty Water

Son & Park Beauty Water

I mentioned this product in My Shortened "K-Beauty" Routine, and for good reason. It's AMAZING. It's my favorite of-all-time "toner". It works like a micellar water, removes leftover makeup extremely well, and just leaves the skin feeling so much softer! I cannot go anywhere without this guy! Once you try Beauty Water, it's pretty much impossible to switch back. So be warned. You’ll fall in love with this stuff and you’ll find yourself repurchasing bottle after bottle!

5. Missha Time Revolution The First Intensive Moist Treatment Essence

Missha Time Revolution The First Intensive Moist Treatment Essence

Those of us who are essence fanatics have definitely heard of this one! Missha is a very well known brand in Korea (their BB cream is great!) and their essence definitely backs up that reputation! I personally have the "moist" version (gotta admit, hate that word for some reason) because I have dry skin, and this version tends to give me more moisture than the other versions. Also, for travel, I have the First Treatment Essence Mist, which comes in a plastic bottle (vs the original's glass) and is great for on the go application!

6. SkinFood Beauty in a Food Mask Sheet Snail

Skinfood Beauty in a Food Mask Sheet, Snail

Okay, you guys are gonna hate me. Because this product is soooo hard to find. Last summer, I purchased a ton of these from Skinfood retail shops in Japan, and ughh I regret not buying out each store’s whole supply. This is the best snail sheet mask I’ve tried and if it was readily available, it’d definitely be my everyday go-to. If you can find it, or even the ones under the same line (such as Bird’s Nest or Horse Fat), snag them!!!!! And get some for me while you’re at it!!!

7. Mizon Snail Repair Intensive Ampoule

Mizon Snail Repair Intensive Ampoule

For the price you pay, this stuff is great! If I'm just using essence then serum then moisturizer (no sheet mask), I prefer Estee Lauder's Advanced Night Repair Serum, but considering I use the Mizon Snail Repair Serum almost always after a sheet mask, it's the perfect product for this step of a 10-step Korean skincare routine! It just absorbs into my skin so well after a sheet mask, and leaves my skin extremely hydrated and ready for moisturizer!

8. Mizon Collagen Power Firming Eye Cream

Mizon Collagen Power Firming Eye Cream

Disclaimer: this is not my usual thick eye cream. I personally bought the tube version, because I actually prefer that type of packaging more, however the link I’ve provided has the same product in a jar. Now onto the actual product: it’s a great gel eye cream to layer. Now, if you want to use your face cream or your favorite eye cream over it, then obviously you’ll get a ton more moisture. However, for the spring and summer, I find that this eye cream’s consistency is perfect!

9. Etude House Moistfull Collagen Deep Cream

Etude House Moistfull Collagen Deep Cream

Dry skin? No problem. The Etude House Moistfull Collagen Deep Cream is made to moisturize dehydrated skin. It has a smooth balm consistency, and takes the entire night to absorb into the skin. In the morning though, your skin will feel super supple and resilient! If you have oily skin, just skip this step. The essence and the serum will provide enough hydration for you!

10. Neogen Dermatology SPF 50/PA+++

Neogen Dermatology SPF 50/PA+++

Like I mentioned in My Shortened "K-Beauty" Routine, this sunscreen is just amongst the best of the best. It doesn't leave a white cast upon application, and it plays nice with all of my foundations. The tube packaging is my favorite- as it's convenient for travel and for using on a daily basis. Even with my dry skin, if I decide to skip out on moisturizer for that day, I can get away using just this sunscreen and being good on hydration. You can tell how much I love this stuff by how the bottle looks lol!
