Spring Skincare Routine 2019

So my winter skincare routine is drastically different than my spring skincare routine- almost entirely in the sense that it takes takes half the products to complete!!! Spring is usually a lot more forgiving on my skin, so here’s my 5-step spring skincare routine:

Cleanser: Neutrogena Ultra Gentle Daily Cleanser

Neutrogena Ultra Gentle Daily Cleanser

This cleanser is so gentle and does a great job of cleaning the skin! It’s not heavy on the moisture, as it’s almost a gel consistency, so it’s perfect for spring months! My dermatologist introduced me to this product almost a decade ago, and it’s one I regularly come back to since! The affordable price tag and its availability make it a super great option for this coming spring season!

Toner: Son & Park Beauty Water

Son & Park Beauty Water

I’ve raved about this toner enough, so it’s not a surprise it’s on this list. I have yet to find a softening toner as effective as Beauty Water, and until then, it will continue to be my tried and true! This stuff will make sure to clean up any leftover makeup or dirt residue, and it just leaves the skin super soft and resilient afterwards! Usually, toners are effective cleansers or are softening. It’s usually rare to find one that’s both, because the typical ingredients of those categories are usually contradictory. But if there’s a holy grail toner that defies this logic, trust me, it’s this one!

Essence: Missha Time Revolution first treatment essence

Missha Time Revolution First Treatment Essence

The Missha Time Revolution Essence has been an essence I’ve been using regularly for the past two years, and honestly, I have no regrets. It’s not as luxurious as the SKII or the Estee Lauder Essence, but it does serve its purpose. I can definitely see a difference in skin softness when I use this stuff and when I don’t. It’s also super affordable, so it’s a definite must-have in your spring skincare routine!

Serum: Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair gel eye serum & face serum

Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair Gel Eye Serum and Advanced Night Repair Serum

Did you guys see this one coming as well? I actually notice, that if my skin is moisturized enough, I’ll skip using at least the face serum during the day, just use the eye serum, and just save the face serum for the night time. Since spring weather is forgiving like I’ve mentioned, sometimes I’ll go straight from my essence to my moisturizer! These two at night is a definite must-do combination however, and trust me, your skin will thank you for it! (Note: this eye serum is the old version. I actually prefer the new version- linked above!)

Moisturizer/Sunscreen: Estee Lauder Daywear

Estee Lauder Daywear Moisturizer

This is such a great moisturizer, because it does such a great job hydrating the skin and feeding it antioxidants without your skin ever feeling too heavy. It serves as a great makeup base, rarely conflicting with any foundations that at least I’ve tried over it. This moisturizer also has an option of SPF 25 (the one have is SPF 15) so it doubles as a skin protectant during those mildly sunny days! If you have super oily skin, I’d suggest checking out the Daywear Matte! It’s a gel-based cream with all the same benefits, as well as helping your skin stay matte throughout the day!

What about you guys??? What products do you guys usually have for your spring skincare routine?
