NEW Chanel Les Beiges Water-Fresh Tint
So this is a fairly new product, I wasn’t t actually the one who actually discovered it. I received it about a month ago from an amazing and generous friend of mine as a gift, and I’ve been wearing it out since! Let’s see if this compares to my other beloved Chanel face products:

Review
Application
For the first week and a half of testing this tint, I applied this product with the small brush it came with. To be honest, I was excited that it came with a Chanel brush, but after using, I can say that it’s a far cry away from the high quality Chanel No. 8 Brush I was expecting it be similar to. With the brush, I found myself working with the product in somewhat of an awkward hold. I mean, it is a super stubby brush with a handle that’s not optimal for adult hands. Despite this, I got a semi-even application, which I will go to more in detail in the next section. For the second week, I used my fingers. This method is obviously much more messy than the former, however this is normally how I apply my Vitalumiere Aqua, so I decided to give it a try! Using my fingers definitely gave more coverage, but I felt like it looked more obvious that the color was a bit orange on me. In the next section, I’ll go over more which method liked better.
Finish
When I used the brush it came with, I was able to achieve a dewy, sheer coverage finish. For some reason, when I used my fingers, I achieved more of a semi-matte, sheer-medium coverage finish. Because I believe that a tint should be the epitome of healthy, dewy skin, using the brush over fingers definitely wins in this category for me. However, that means if you’re looking for a more medium coverage foundation, you’re definitely not going to get it with this bottle.
Lasting-Power
Haha, so this is where this product doesn’t take the cake for me. This stuff alone lasts probably 4 hours MAX on me- and I have super dry skin! Even with a setting spray I can’t imagine this stuff looking great for more than 6 hours. Therefore, the claim that Chanel makes that this lasts for 8 hours, is FALSE (sorry Felicia!). Also, this isn’t the type of foundation I’d powder either, so we can throw that modification out the door! For the first two hours, this foundation looks nice. I look healthy, I don’t look like I’m wearing any makeup at al! I mean, it just looks like my skin is at its best. But then after that 2-3 hour mark, the tint starts to fade, and by the 4-5th hour, I mean this stuff is gone.
Benefits
After a month of using, I didn’t notice a huge difference in my skin. I understand though that Chanel doesn’t claim any long-term effects of using this tint, however, it would have been nice to see some improvement in hydration for the hefty price tag.
Final Verdict
Ideally, I would say if you’re looking for a foundation just for running some errands for a couple of hours or for grabbing a quick dinner on the beach, try this stuff out. Who knows? It might work better on you than it did for me. I mean, with that being said, I will give it that it does photograph quite nicely, and it does make your skin look radiant and healthy! However, with that, you trade any type of coverage, lasting-power, and not to mention your hard-earned $65. I don’t see myself repurchasing this product, but hey, if you have God-sent skin and you just absolutely have to try this product out, go for it. Otherwise, I would consider investing in Chanel’s Vitalumiere Aqua as your summer’s radiant, healthy holy grail foundation.
